Hi Everyone! Does Disney decorate the ceremony site and cake cutting ceremony? Is that extra? Am I suppose to have to coordinate this too? We are going with the Boardwalk ceremony site (Sea Breeze). Also, where will the cake cutting ceremony take place? We are doing an Escape Vow Renewal ceremony.....THANKS! :confused3

Hi again!!

With the Escape Vow Renewal (or wedding, for that matter) decorations for the ceremony locations are not included. Some brides decide not to add any other decoration. I didn't...I thought Sea Breeze Point was quite simple and charming without anything. But our wedding was very casual and simple...so it worked for us.

Some brides do some minor things either through Disney floral or an outside vendor. If you decide to go with Disney floral, you will "coordinate" that just as you will all your other floral needs.

If you decide to use an outside vendor, you will be responsible for coordinating all of that.

Here's a link to some pics of Sea Breeze Point (it looks as though one shows it set up for a wedding, and the bride has elected to have some floral added...this would be "extra").

I know there are several other SBP brides who have looked at some different options. I hope they'll stop by and give you some more input.

The cake cutting will take place right there at SBP. The gazebo structure is quite large. Depending on the number of guests you have (I think) your cake cutting will either be just to the right of the ceremony location (still under the roof of the structure) or just outside the structure under the trees. I've heard of both areas used for the cake cutting.

I just talked to Rosie a week and a half ago about floral. My ceremony and cake cutting will be at SBP too. I elected not to add any floral decorations for the site. I'm am getting bouquets for my moh and bridesmaid. Rosie sent me pictures of the area with and with out. If you want me to send them to you, PM me your email. She said the cake table is set up nice, but it's not decorated. But she said that we can put mine and my bridesmaids arrangements on the table as decoration for pictures. Dual purpose! I think SBP is very pretty on it's own and for how short the time will be that we're spending there, it just isn't worth the extra money to me.

Hi again Hiwaygal :) . Thank you for responding. Thank you very much MistressofAllEvil, I will for sure PM you my email, I would love to actually see what SBP looks like with or without the decorations. I truly appreciate it. Thanks!:cloud9:

I am having 18 guests. I think SBP is the only site that accomodates the max of 18 guests with the exception of the Yacht/Beach Club for the Rose Garden. Every other site only allows 10 guests. Thanks.
