Decorating room for wedding night

Hi
Is anyone doing their own room decorating ? Or has anyone done it?

It is just DF and I, and I just hate to go back to an undecorated room.

Originally, there was another couple coming with us, but they are unable to do so. Now I have some room decorations and a basketful of "goodies" for DF and I. I was hoping to have a bit of time after DH leaves the room.

If anyone as any suggestions or some word of advice, I'm all ears.

I had rose petals delivered to the room. When we got back they were still in their bag rather then scattered, but I wanted a shower anyway and left the preparations to DH.

Then we left a $20 to the poor mousekeeping person who had to clean it up the next day!

I was going to suggest Peggy as well - I got a gift basket from her for DF on our last trip, which was fab, and mum and I were looking at the room decorations last week!

I haven't used them before so I can't recommend them, but Gifts of a Lifetime offers Room Decoration. I do know they are recommended in the Passporter books.
