When decorating Magic Bands, what are some dos and donts?

For instance, can you use super glue? I read somewhere some people have used nail polish, is that right? Markers?

Are there certain areas on the band you should steer clear from decorating? I understand there's a chip in there I'd just be concerned that painting over it or placing something over it might mess the chip up...anyone know?

There is a long thread with pictures under the theme parks community forum. I used acrylic paint with acrylic sealer. You can see mine and many other wonderful creations along with explanations and tips in that thread.

I used nail polish and then a coat of glitter polish. Did not cover the mickey head. Glitter did not rub off. Got lots of compliments.

I ordered a package of MagicSliders and Magic Bandits from WDW. Have not gotten them yet.

I've used stickers (which I glue on with Aleene's craft glue) and then coat with a clear nail polish. I've used scrapbooking borders. I'm about to try the covers at DVCcentral.com just for a change.
