Decorating Balconies at Board Walk Inn?

Has anyone decorated a balcony at the Board Walk Inn?

In october during our yacht club stay A couple boardwalk balconies were decorated with halloween things

Those Boardwalk decorations really stand out to others.

Really? Thanks! I hadn't noticed any decorated in the past but I was hoping to decorate in.December.

We hung white Christmas lights on the balcony but didn't put up big window displays like some guests do at the value resorts. I don't want to take away from the Boardwalk ambiance.

Lots of folks put lights on their balconies, from what I saw staying there in 2008. It was so cute - plus I noticed folks checking in that looked like they had driven to the resort from home, a couple of families that had Christmas trees in boxes! With a villa, it's nice to make it homey (I brought one the first time we stayed, and had little gifts under it).

Now that they have those removable hooks available (3M?) it's easier to put lights up without damaging anything. I think it's festive!

I agree, I don't like taking away from the ambience of the resort with lots of exterior decorations. Room decorations can make your room festive though

Yes, I agree! Some white lights on the balcony and a little tree in the room are what I was thinking.

Aboslutely, there will be decorated balconies. This is a great opportunity to bring your Christmas tradition to the greatest place on earth--WDW.

Whatever is a favorite deocrtaion at home will fit in beautifully to your villa. And the lights will be enjoyed by you and your family, as well as other visitors.
