For those who have been to the fort between Thanksgiving and Christmas, can you tell me how many people actually decorate their unit for Christmas? Coming to the Fort the day after Thanksgiving!

Welcome to the boards!

You start seeing Christmas decorations the week before Thanksgiving and many people will have huge displays from Thanksgiving week on thru the new year.

RVs tend to have more decorations. SOme peeps do some stuff on cabins, say colored lights. ALot of peeps don't do anything, others go way overboard. Theres obviously some regulars who get the same sites year after year and do HUGE displays. In all honesty, many of them are tacky/cheezy (campers gone wild at walmart) and all most make you feel like you are in a TRAILOR park. :rotfl2: I'm not talking economics of who has the most expensive rv/rig. Anyway, most of us golf carters enjoy checking out the different decorations whether they're pretty or wondering what were they THINKING!!! :moped:

If it's anything like Halloween I'd bet there are quite a few people that decorate. We've been to MNSSHP the last few years but have never been there at Xmas time. The week before last it seems like people in Loop 300 were working togethor. There were something like 8 or 10 sites in a row deck out to the hilt for Halloween. The kids really enjoyed it.
