Decorated sites ... where are the "old timers"?

Is it? Since people are saying there are so many campsites empty, yet the Fort is booked when you try to get a night?

Or are there multiple other agents besides the one you referred to who are still doing it? It seems like Disney could figure out how to stop that.

Well, to be more precise my understanding is the ft. Is aware of this one particular agents strange way of holding reservations and are going to do something about it. Same thing w phantom campers though don't have as much 411 on that.
Also we have been here and this weekend, people rolling in. Sorry I don't see that many vacant sites at all. We went down to catch the bus Sunday morning around check out time and not hardly anyone rolling out either.
Plenty of decorations, more going up all weekend.

Yay! This cheers me up, thank you. So excited to be there, these downer threads about few lights and empty sites were making me sad.

That's great. When you get off the bus at the end of a theme park day, your lights will call you home. Are they outside around the deck area or inside around the window area?

We have a little of both, about on par with other cabins.most of the campsites are well decorated with some very impressive displays.

I has heard the same thing before we arrived a week ago on other boards. I completely disagree there's lack of decorations. Even site 114 whomever is there did it up big time.
Let's just say a bitter person and some of ther friend have been saying for months the fort was going to dead and no decorating. Think a lot of this online ft. Gloom is rumours to discourage people from going to hurt the fort biz.

we just returned from a three night stay in the cabins-our first stay there!!!- and to me the lights were AMAZING!!!! I do not see how they could have been much better! We actually cut our time in the parks WAY back so we could spend time at the Fort. I fell in love with everything there. We already have a week planned for next Christmas because 3 nights was way too short.

We rented a golf cart and every night we drove around all the loops and looked at lights. Some of them were incredible!!

I just want to thank everyone here for the help on our first trip to the Fort- we will never stay anywhere else at Disney!

I know the TA in the 1600 loop holds reservations along with other questionable business practices, could this be the TA you are referring to?

Also, you suggested if we are upset with TA's holding reservations we should write a letter. Do you have a name and direct address or e-mail address we could write rather than just the general address of the fort?

We cannot wait until next year to have our own decorated cart for the first time!
