Decorate at Pre-Reception location??

How many people decorated their pre-reception location??
Ours will be at Marthas Vinyard Lounge, does anyone have pictures of that location??

My options are:

0 Floral Arrangements
0 Votive Candles
0 Confetti
0 Rose Petals

Also, what are the prices of the above options?

My pre-reception is on the patio of the Whitehall Room, and my main reception inside. I am going to decorate the patio with fiscus (sp?) tree's and candles to make it look pretty. But we will be using the patio all night, so hopefully the price will be worth it.

As far as the prices for centerpieces, that varies. It really depends on what you want. There are no set prices for those. It depends on what style you are doing and what the florists suggests.

The following prices are what were on my BEO:

Votive Candles..............$2.50 each

Confetti.......................$6.00 per bag
(I believe one bag can do one round table)

Now with the rose petals. That varies on how much you have. I will just try to give two examples from my BEO.

On a buffet table, which is large, scattered rose petals will cost $30.00.
On a small guest book table, scattered rose petals will cost $7.50

So the rose petals price depends on how big the area is and how much you would like scattered.

We're doing votive candles and rose petals on the tables at the St. James Patio at the Boardwalk. We didn't feel the need to go too crazy.

We had the whitehall patio and used nothing!! As my guests were only there for about 45min and some of that was having photos taken. If you really do want something I would not spend a fortune unless you are planning on using the location for a long time.
