Deck question on Dream...

Cruise newbie here......may do a 4nt cruise on the Dream in Aug. Room will have a verandah. With that being said, what deck and part of ship (forward, middle or back) to you prefer?

I always try to get port side, middle or middle front. I try to avoid the cabins that are right next to the elevators or stairways, but still close enough to get to quickly.

We are GTY in August, so I don't know what we'll get this time.

On the Dream, we have always chosen Cat. 4B, Deck 8, mid ship, starboard side.

I prefer Deck 5 near kids clubs , the movie theatre & less cabins=less foot traffic. Either side is fine w/me. Mid-ship or Aft preferably. Happy cruising!

I look more at what the room is above or below for possible noise issues from public areas. Decks 7 and 8 are great because there is a deck of rooms above and below you. We've stayed midship, aft, and forward and all have been fine.
