Deck 8 - any bad ones?

i heard the ones right under the pool area can be loud in the early am.. sorry don't know the cabin numbers

In the staterooms under the Goofy pool, you can hear the deck party at night (not a problem if you happen to be up there!), and when you are below the pool areas, in the morning you may hear the chairs being moved. If you are below Topsiders/Beach Blanket, you will hear the people at breakfast time. The quietest rooms on that deck are under the spa.

cat 4 , room 8002 was great stateroom , loved it. peter

it depends which category you're referring to...
if you mean category 3, then there are 4 staterooms that far surpass the others...
staterooms 8032, 8034, 8532 and 8534.....
i think those are the 4.....right in midship next to the roy and walt suites..
we were in 8534 and it was spectacular...
those 4 staterooms are much larger than the other caterogry 3 staterooms and have a very long verandah (almost the same length verandah as the walt and roy suites....)..

On our first cruise we had cabin 8042. Absolutely Magical!

Hey Peter (aka Hygiene) we will be in cabin 8002 on our next cruise in August. Many thanks for your post!

We have connecting rooms - 8522 and 8524 for an Eastern cruise. Anyone have these rooms before? We will have two adults and two young teens. Will we have enough room?
Thanks!

We are in 8562 for our Dec 14th cruise. Any notes on this one? I can't tell if it is directly under a pool or not....any noise issues on this room?:D

8522 is a cat 3 stateroom, correct?...
so you have 2 connecting staterooms, one cat 3 and one cat 4....
i assume you mean to have the teens in the cat 4 and you in the cat 3....
i've never seen the configuration of those cat 3 staterooms, so i can't tell you what they're like...
i would assume that by virtue of the fact that you'll have two staterooms, regardless of the category, you'll have plenty of space (with only two people in each stateroom)....

if you're not married to the idea of connecting staterooms you might consider staterooms 8034 or 8534 as the cat 3 to ask for...(the cat 4 staterooms nextdoor are 8036 and 8536 respectively)...
they are NOT connecting...however, 8034 and 8534 have very nice configurations that might make up for the loss of the connecting convenience.......
on the other hand, it's more than likely that 8034 and 8534 are already booked...they, together with 8032 and 8532, are the first cat 3 staterooms to be reserved...

i just went to the DCL site and looked at the deck plans...
it looks to me like you'll have lots of room with those two staterooms....and with young teens i think you definitely want the convenience of connecting rooms...
so all things considered, i think you made a very good choice....
