has anybody out there been in the category 11 staterooms on deck 5 forward inside port or starboard? can you comment on noise and traffic around these rooms: 5001,5005,5009,5013,5501,5505,5509,5513. what is behind these rooms?

I haven't been in those exact rooms, but we were right down the hall in 5020 (secret porthole room). Because it's the dead-end of a short hallway, there is no traffic at all. Whether or not it's quiet will depend entirely on who else is in those other rooms!

Not exactly sure what's behind those rooms, but there is a door right across the hall from 5020 that was used by the crew to deliver and remove luggage.

We love the location on the ship. The big showroom is just a short walk downstairs (along with Studio Sea and Animator's Palate), the kid's Club/Lab and the movie theatre are just on the other side of the stairs (but again, no traffic or noise from them).

Hope that helps!

I loved those category 11 rooms. I was staying on the other side of the hall but peeked into one of them. The are situated with the door on the long side instead of a short end. They looked very roomy and the location just can't be beat. It was a wonderful location. Very quiet and very convenient.

I love Deck 5 aft - always quiet and has easy access to everywhere!

Please remember that 5622 has been permanently taken over by a Shrimp Thief and her family.

We stayed in 5013, and had family in the next 2 rooms. We loved the area! No excess noise, and it was centrally located, not too far to go up or down to anything. We also enjoyed the room itself, it wasnt too small for our family of 4 and we even had a crib and a double carriage in there. I wouldnt hesitate stay there again.
