Deck 2-Deluxe Inside Stateroom Question

We're about to book our first Disney Cruise and we want a deluxe inside stateroom. The choices we were given were decks 1, 2 or 7. Both decks 1 & 7 didn't look appealing as they seemed to far aft or forward. We would prefer a room towards the center of the boat.

Any suggestions/thoughts on rooms 2071-2085 or 2571-2585? Are these noisey, too far towards the bottom of the boat to wait for the elevator, etc.?

We want the deluxe stateroom because of the split bathroom. We have 4 people in our group and 3 of us are women, we need the 2 sinks in the morning.

Your comments or suggestions is appreciated.

We just got off our first cruise and we picked deck 7 aft, for one really good reason. The "secret" verandah or deck to the far back of the ship. It is really, really wonderful when you are in the inside staterooms. Early in the morning was great, nobody is ever out there and its almost like it is all yours. It was close to the elevators too, we had rooms 7629 and 7627, they weren't deluxe, but I would pick 7 aft in a second again.

We have stayed in 2085 on the Wonder and on the Magic. We like being on deck 2 and in the center of the ship (less motion).

I second the deck 7 aft..I only wish I could find an inside cat 11 there.....I LOVE deck 7...I would check out the stateroom reports if I were you for deck 2, as some are noisy.
hth :goodvibes

2611 is IMO the best cat 10 location on the ship....close to aft elevators and many of the venues you'll use most.....

We have 2583, 2585 on our California Cruise in Aug.for 4 0f us.I like the location of these rooms...hopefully they will work out :goodvibes

We stayed in 2073 (if that is under Lumiere's) and I have also stayed under the Promenade Lounge - LOVED both rooms, very quiet and close to where we were going. I have also been in a cat 11 aft on Deck 7 and to be that close to the overlook is awesome! I would do deck 7 aft if I was behind the aft elevators.

we have stayed on Deck 2 for 3 cruises and loved it.. center of the boat, no feeling of motion.. perfect.. we love deck 2..

All of the above. Have been on deck 2,5,6,7 midship and aft. Any room. Just get me on that ship! :boat: pirate:

Deck 7 AFT is my favorite location on the ship. Almost everything that you want to do most often is AFT. On deck 7 it's 2 short flights up the steps to the food! drink station! Mickey pool! and Palo is right above that. Animators is 3 stairs below. And best of all, it's right near the secret deck 7 AFT verandah.

I stayed on deck 6 midship once and I didnt' like it as much as AFT. It was never a "quick walk" upstairs for a soda or a muffin or something. Midship isn't FAR from anything, but it isn't CLOSE to anything either. (except the kids clubs)

If it were me, I'd take deck 7 AFT over deck 2 midship ANY DAY. You will have to rely on the S-L-O-W elevators for everything.

I booked 2607 and 2609 for my family. According to my awesome TA Tom from All Seasons and the Paspporter, this is a great location. Never been on deck 2 but looking forward to experiencing it.

The elevators are SLOW, but I hardly ever rode them (maybe 4 times on our 7 day). I like walking the stairs to burn off the extra calories! And, yes, I did go from deck 2 to deck 9 quite a bit since I hung out a lot at the pools with my kids. My husband who didn't take the stairs gained 10lbs. :mickeybar I came back at the same weight I left at. IMO, deck 2 is a great place to stay!
