Ok, I've done a ton of research and still can't decide.

Right now I'm booked for the AKL concierge for 7 nights the
first week of August. For the same or very close to the same
price we can also goto the BC concierge.

How do the compare? Is all the travel out from the AKL a big
deal? I have a 2 and 4 year old and my wife.

Next issue. We arrive late on the 29th, should we pay the extra
money for to stay at the same hotel (cheaper room not concierge) or stay off site that first night?

We are staying at the AKL, it seems great for families! Never stayed at BC, but visited it. It also seems great. It really depends on what you're looking for. What park would you spend more time at? Theming? etc.
For the first night, it may be a good idea to stay at one of the DTD hotels. They're nice, and you can do DTD that night. You could also stay at one of the AS.
Whatever you decide, have a great trip!

With a 2 and 4 yr old I would stay at the AKL. Stayed there last yr with 1.5 and 3 and they loved being able to watch the animals at any time of the day. They got up every morning and went right to the windows to see what was out there. Also anytime walking in the halls they were stopping at every window to check it out.

AKL has great transportation. You don't share buses with any other resort. At BC you can walk to Epcot which is nice, but you share buses with YC and BW. If I remember right, BC club is last on and last off the buses. Once there were two full buses to AK before we got a third bus with standing room only. Your kids will love AKL. BC has a great better themed pool, but your kids are a little young to appreciate it. AKL pool has a zero entry.

You would have a fabulous time at either place so it just depends on what your little ones would like the most. We stayed at the BC when our daughter was 5. She still talks about that trip even though we've been back and stayed at the GF, YC, Swan, and WL. She loved Stormalong Bay. It is so wonderful it's like a mini waterpark. When she was 5, we spent much more time back at the hotel swimming and relaxing just so she wouldn't be worn out at the parks. If your little ones are more into animals than swimming, AKL would probably be the best choice.
Good luck with your decision.

AKL for sure. We found their concierge services to be great. There is lots, all over, for kids to do and see. We were somewhat dissapointed with a Poly concierge stay two months after the AKL stay.

Thanks for all the great info!!

BTW, Richyams that may be the best quote I've
ever read!!
