We are starting to plan for Nov. 09’. Our only issue with a few exceptions we had amazing meals our last trip and want to return to those restaurants. But on the other hand there are so many others we would like to try it is so hard to choose.

Just out of curiosity how many of you have restaurants that are a must each trip to WDW? If so which ones?
Or do you try someplace new?

Our "must do" restaurants are funnily enough, not because we find the food to be all that great, but instead because we love the atmosphere so much. My must-dos are probably ones that others would consider horrible - San Angel Inn and the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. The atmosphere of San Angel and the fact that Sci-Fi is so different than anything we could do up here in NJ just make us want to keep going back, even if they do only have so-so food.

That being said, we do try new places each trip as well. For our 09 trip, we are determined to try Le Cellier, all of the CS locations in the WS in Epcot and Yak & Yeti.

I am determined to eat at every restaurant on property before I die so I am all up for new!!! Worth repeating for us though are V&A and Boma. I won't be doing either on our upcoming trip but am looking forward to Spoodles, Artist Point and T Rex....all new on my list!!

We try to eat at different restuarants but there is one that is just our tradition and that is breakfast at THe Grand Floridian Cafe. Other than that we want to eat at every Disney restuarant!

Crystal Palace seems to be our can't miss restaurant. It's the perfect confluence of circumstances for my family even if the food isn't spectacular, it's pretty good for a buffet.

We also like to try a few new places too. I'd say we are 75% repeats and 25% new.

The repeat we are doing for sure is breakfast at O'hana! Then we are Contemplating 1900 Park Ave. again Other than that I think we are doing new places.

Oh can I add I love love love planning our WDW trips!

We like to try new restaurants every time; I want to get to every restaurant on site! Our standards for every trip is CM's and HDDR; everything else is up for grabs.:flower3: I even think next time we will leave CM's out and try another new character meal.popcorn::

Our must do list would be:
Crystal Palace, Raglan Road Pub, Canadian Pavilion, Funnel Cakes in MK.
This year we are doing all of the above and looking forward to Chef Mickey's (never been before, very excited), Spoodles, Beaches and Cream (gonna get the Kitchen Sink) and Cape Mae's Beach Party Breakfast.
We were hoping to try T-Rex, but don't think we'll have time.

DH and I like to try new places, it can be boring going to the same old ones all the time.

Our goal is to try every single TS place! We are not that far off our goal!

I say on long 10 day stays we do new places and a old favs and on weekend stays we go where we try new places but the one place we always go to, no matter what kind of trip is BOMA breakfast, it is just out of this world awesome.

In Jan we are going with kids so we will go to Boma Lite....AKA Tusker House :rotfl:

You sound like me. We are going in Maya nd have a HUGE list of places we want to go to eat. Mykids want to do over stuff from this yeara dn we only have 8 TS meals....
So far we are decided on
CRT
Chef Mickeys
Cape May Cafe
Le Cellier
Sci Fi

I am also thinking
Mama Melrose (fantasmic Package)
Kona?
1900 Park fare

I REALLY want to do the Tea room at GF and a millions other things, I guess there is always next time.

We have so many MUST do's thata it's hard to try new things. But somehow we manage too!
Our MUST do's are...
CRT
CP
Biergarten
Coral Reef
GG
50's
Sci-Fi
Boma- breakfast and dinner
CM
Beaches n Cream
HDDR

Most are for the atmoshere and it's never a complete trip unless we hit them all.

We are hoping to try...
Princess Breakfast in Norway
Teppan Edo
Mama Melrose
Yak n Yeti
Donald's new Breakfast (have done the old one)
1900 PF
Ohana breakfast
Cape May's
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
Thank heavens for the DxDDP!

Must do's are Tuttu Italia...I actually aim for dinner and lunch.
Kona Cafe...It makes us feel like we are at WDW!

Thats really it. For a few trips it seemed that we always did Boma but then we went to Mara and now we go there instead! LOL

I always try and work in some old favorites and new restaurants too.

We go often enough (2-3 times per year) that I don't generally feel that any places are a deal breaker. However, we do have the tradition of eating at either V&A or Bistro for our last meal and Boma for our first meal.

We usually only do about three TS meals per trip. We do often go to our favorites (mine is Le Cellier) but will try at least one new TS restaurant per trip.

Last year, we found California Grill and Crystal Palace (for breakfast). Both were excellent. We also discovered the wonderful lettuce wraps at Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian - one of my favorite meals on the trip! I also discovered Columbia Harbor House on my last trip - great CS restaurant. And one of our old favorites, Sunshine Seasons.

We are currently planning our return trip for Nov '09 also!! :goodvibes

Our can't miss restaurants are California Grill and CRT (breakfast) :thumbsup2

We like to try new restaurants each time, but will repeat certain favorites maybe every other or every third trip. Favorites:

Boma
Crystal palace
Spoodles

We repeated Whispering Canyon this past October and it still remains high on my dd's list, but they really loved Sci-fi. I am all for trying new places!!
