Call me a little OCD, but we're about 30 days from our 180 reservation window and I've been pouring over the menus at All Ears and reading about the restaurants in the Passporter and another Disney guide I have and can't decide where to eat. Well, that's not completely true, there are a few places we've decided on. We are a party of 4 and our kids really aren't all that pick. I'm luck, I know. They will be 3 & 7 on this upcoming trip.

We will be there for 6 nights and plan on doing sit-down for all our dinner meals. It's a nice way to take a break towards the end of the day and then decide if we want to go back to the parks or go wander somewhere else. We did this our last trip and loved it. We've done Disney a fair number of times but only for the past few trips have done more TS meals. Before that it was a lot of CS meals!

So here's what we have decided on:

'Ohana - Like last trip it will be our 1st meal of our stay. Decided that last trip!
The Wave - Did this last trip and we love it. Plus we're staying at BLT and it's so close and so yummy!
Chefs de France - Had planned on doing it last trip but someone in our party got ill and we had to cancel and couldn't get a new ADR for any day during our stay. We were really bummed!

So I have 3 dinners I need to decide on. There are some requirements though - no character dining or buffets and no Signature dining restaurants (just not interested in forking over the money this time for a really expensive meal).

Here is a list of where we have eaten and don't want to return on our upcoming trip:

Biergarten, Sci-Fi, San Angel Inn (yuck, yuck, yuck IMO), Kona Cafe, a bunch of buffets (but since I said no buffets, I didn't list them), Tony's Town Square. I feel like I'm forgetting one or two. :sad2:

Now's your turn to start giving suggestions. Tell me some of your favorite places to eat, what you like when you eat there, etc.

Thanks!!!

I am still trying to decide on our reservations, and we leave this month...lol. So far we have dinner at Sanaa, lunch at CRT and dinner at the California Grill. I have others like Kona for dinner and breakfast, but I'm not 100% sure on those. I'm only trying to decide if Sanaa is worth the trek on our arrival day. We'll have a car and either be driving from POP or DTD. I wish I knew how far the drive was to decide on it for sure.

Sanna at Kidani. Its really out of the way, but worth the trip out there if you have never been. Its at savannah level and the exterior wall is glass so you are at ground level watching baby giraffe walking past while you eat. The food is a little different, but you indicated that your kids are not picky so that shouldn't be an issue. You could honestly spend more than 1/2 day just walking around the 2 resorts and checking out the animals and african artifacts.

We LOVE 50's Prime Time Cafe. It is one of our favorites! I also love the 1900 Park Fare, and Tusker House. Those 3 are a must when we go!

Liberty Tree Tavern was pretty good - I'd go back there - it gives you the benefit of a buffet (family style serving) without the crazyness.

Momma Melrose was decent (but not great) - and you can get the F! package there if trying to work F! in.

Had a good meal at Yak and Yetti in AK.

The Wave in the CR I hear is very good. It is on our list to do but haven't gotten there yet.

Best restaurant in my opinion is California Grill - we had great food, service and you get to see the fireworks from your table on certain nights. It's not cheap but well worth it.

We also enjoyed the food at Spoodles (Boardwalk hotel promenade).
