I have gone back and forth over my "birthday celebration" trip this summer. (It's almost never over my birthday exactly - in this case it will be a month later, but hey, since I can take advantage of slightly lower crowds while other parts of the country are still in school...)
First it was going to be just a cruise.
Then it was going to be a night at Disney followed by a cruise. Back and forth and back and forth about where to stay that one night.
Then it was "You're going on a cruise in Feb, and odds are the prices won't rise THAT much between now and then for Feb 2018...book onboard and get a discount AND some onboard credit"...but I have my airfare already booked.
So... Hello 8-night stay at Walt Disney World. But where??
At first it was going to be AKL because I love me some AKL. And I was cool with it.
But...
This little nagging thing kept tugging at me. The fact that there is one place I have wanted to stay my whole life (and I mean this pretty much literally as I was born exactly 71 days before WDW opened)...and it was not ridiculously more expensive to stay there for the trip. (I'm not a split-stay kind of girl...I want to park it in one place and not repack until time to go home, so...no.) So I debated and pondered and crunched some numbers. And yesterday made a decision...
I am staying at the Poly for my trip!!!! 8 night stay, 7 days of tickets (one day will be resort/Disney Springs, and departure day will be a little more resort/Disney Springs), and the Deluxe Dining Plan (I know people are torn on it, but I'm looking at it as having things as paid as I can...other than tips and any drinks I choose to get during my meals). I'm so excited!!!
Now let the planning fun start!!!
