Decision between Pop & POR Riverside

Excited to be going back to Disney!! We are a group of 18 (10 children, 8 adults). Trying to decide between Pop and POR Riverside. We have always gone to Pop and enjoyed it, but the kids would really like the waterslide and pools at POR.

My only question is the bus service. We tend to come back to the room after lunch and go back to one of the parks late afternoon for the evening. I have read that POR bus service can be a longer wait.
What is everyones experience?

Im a French Quarter girl, and they share the busses with Riverside. Yes there are times when the bus can be long but that generally only happens at the end of night around park closings. Other than that I havent seen it any better at any other hotel, and I have stayed at a few in the park. You will really love Port Orleans, so pretty and very laid back...The pools are alot of fun as well. I really think you will like the moderates, the theming is a little more and I think the amenities are a little nicer. I cant say that from first hand experience I have never stayed value but I have friends who have and they said moderates just seem to offer a little extra. Good luck and hey whatever way you decide, you are at DISNEY and how can it get better than that....
