When you are undecided which resorts to stay at and absolutely can't decide, how do you finally make your choice? I've been struggliing for weeks on where to stay for my December trip and just could not make my mind up. I looked at all the pictures on Deb's site and read all the reviews on tripadvisor.com and still couldn't make my mind up. All I knew was that I wanted to do split stay. I was afraid all the AP Best Rate Program deals were going to be gone before I could make my mind up. Finally I decided to just bite the bullet and book. After reading Telly's (Fantasia) review on POFQ and rereading Buzz's (Mario's) site on CSR, I decided on those two and am very happy with my choices. I was just wondering how other undecided people make their choices.

Hi! I am so like you! I am very undecisive! The answer to my flip-flopping mind is to do split! It works! And that is why I am going to do a split again! Poly and POFQ! Totally different atmosphere! I love it! Splitting stay for us is the best thing! It's like having two different vacation!

You are going to love POFQ! It is our favorite moderate resort!! If you have time, check out Riverside! You can use your refill mugs there and pool hop there too! It's okay. They share ammenities!! And don't forget, take the boat to DD for shopping and for dining too!! Have a "magical" time!! And... you guys are going to love the serpent dragon slide!! Try beignets! They are YUMMMY!! :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc
Enjoy POFQ!!

I think you made the best choice--split stay! I had to put our stay to a vote with my dd and ds---we watched the planning DVD again and again, narrowed our choices, listed pros and cons, and then voted. We did the CR Tower this last trip and loved it.
If I knew this were my one and only trip to WDW, I would agonize over the decision. But I know we'll be back in 3 or 4 years, and try something else. We'll keep going to WDW til we've tried them all!

Have a magical vacation! Love POFQ and POR! :flower:

I get so confused trying to decide where to stay. I read reviews, look at pictures, etc.. but I always managed to go back and forth about where to stay. I have been trying to decide for months where to stay on our next trip and I think I have it narrowed down to 2 options but every other day I think one is better than the other. For our next trip I am trying to decide between saving money and staying at All Star Movies or really splurging and staying at AKL. A split is not a great option for us because we will be traveling with a baby (DD will have just turned 1) and I don't want to have to deal with moving in the middle of our vacation.

If you can't do a split, I would say go with your first gut instinct. Actually in all aspects of life, I think your "little voice" usually knows best! :teeth:

I know just what you mean, we're going in Jan 06 and I've been checking out the resorts since the first of this year. This may be our one and only trip to WDW so I wanted to make it really special, but we have a budget and didn't want to spend it all on the resort. I made a ressie for WL concierge level, which sounded great, but called and changed this week to WL standard, just couldn't justify the extra $1,000. I hope we won't be disappointed, all the reviews sound great! Have 9 & 12 yr. old, won't get bunk beds since they changed not having them in standard anymore. 9 yr will have BD while at WDW, should be very exciting. :cheer2:

I couldn't decide for our JAn 06 trip either .... so, I also decided on a split stay. We will start off at the Akl and then switch to BC. We are meeting my parents at BC but we (3 DS and DH) loved AKL so much on our last visit, we couldn't miss it on our upcoming trip!

I did a split stay this past January with a WL courtyard view and AKL Savanna view and loved both. In May I did a split stay at POP and BWV studio. In Sept we'll be spending the entire week at POP, so I wanted something different for my Dec trip. I was leaning toward a split stay at a moderate and AKL, but couldn't decide which moderate, so round up booking a split stay just between POFQ and CSR. I'm apprehensive that I may regret not booking AKL, but am also very excited about POFQ and CSR.

Well I drive my kids crazy by making them watch the planning DVD over and over. We watch the video from the past year and anything and everything on the travel channel. Then we look at everything I can find on the web and I book it. Then I change my mind A LOT and drive my TA crazy. However I think my husband has it much worse as he has to live with me and hears me ever 20 min. go on about making the right choice. Once in a while I will post about it hear but I know that my TA is on the boards and I don't want her to know another e-mail is on the way. Pretty soon she is going to block my e-mails. :earseek:
