Hi,
We are in the beginning stages of planning our first cruise for sometime in 2006. We are planning on the 7 day Eastern cruise. It will be myself, dh and 3 (4year olds), my best friend her dh and her 4 year old dd, my and my best friends mothers. We can go anytime and are avoiding the major holiday times. Any suggestions on when we should go. Thanks so much
Tara

Good question....here are my favorite times, in order, with respect to lowest pricing/best weather...

1) 1st 2 cruises in December
2) Halloween cruise
3) early October
3) Early May

We went in mid May & are going again in '06. Great time, water is warming up, not extremly hot, & decent pricing. Book early, our cruise has already went up by about $400

If you can cruise any time, I suggest early December. The ship is beautiful with all the Christmas decorations!!! The next time you are able to cruise you may not be able to take them out of school so wouldn't be able to enjoy this. :) The weather has also been very warm...and down right hot somedays...on the cruise.
