We are about a month out from our trip. I got some really useful advice on an earlier thread and was able to feel good about our ticket type selection.

We have 4 day (non-park hopper) tickets. Family of 4, with 2 girls ages 10 and 12. We have 5 days to choose from and will use the 1 off day for beach, etc.
Dates are Tues, June 9 - Sat, June 13

We only have the 1 Magic Morning.
I imagine we will do 3 days at DL and 1 at CA, but if kids want to go back to CA at the end, we may split with 2 visits to each park.

Touring plans calendar:
DL CA
Tues 8 9
Wed 7 8
Thur 7 9
Fri 6 7
Sat 6 6

Initial idea:
Tues - DL with MM
Wed - DL (grad night)
Thurs - CA
Fri - off
Sat - DL

-- Should we switch Wed/Thurs parks? This would put us at CA on the grad night (Wed). Is this ill advised since we can't park hop? And will it affect World of Color, which my DD 10 is excited about?
But CA is an 8 on Wed, as opposed to a 9 on Thursday. Is there much difference between 8 and 9?

-- Is Saturday really going to be the least crowded day??

-- I figure it will be easiest to use our MM on the first day rather than wait until Saturday, but with a restful off day, we could use the MM on Saturday.

-- And it looks like the busiest day at DL will be that Tuesday.
Will the early morning off-set the rest of the busy day?

Yes, we have lots of questions/concerns.
Any feedback is welcome. The good thing is we don't have to decide until we go, but having a plan is probably a good thing.

I don't have answers to any of your questions but bumping for you and because I'm there 6/11-6/12.

I also thought it was curious that Saturday had the lowest crowd predictions of the week. At least you have plenty of days to see things, even if things are crowded :)

First, let me say I don't believe TP.

Having said that, the lower So Cal passes will be blocked Fri and Sat, and Deluxe will be blocked on Sat. I'm guessing this is why TP predicts lower crowds those days.

I don't know much about grad nights so that's a tough one. I like the way you have your schedule now because you are going to the park without the MM/EMH, so will be on equal footing with other guests in the mornings. I think that will be important since you will not be hopping.

I think the general consensus is to use your MM early in your trip because it will be harder to get up early on later days. Of course, like you said, you will have Fri as a rest day, so if you sleep in that day then it won't be so hard to get up early on Sat. But, if you do decide to do DCA on Sat then you would miss out on your MM altogether. I would keep it on Tues, unless you are arriving late Mon night.

I agree with the PP that TP is probably predicting lower crowds on Sat because almost all the APs are blocked that day. I have a Deluxe AP and will be arriving that Sat but we will chill in DTD instead of going to the parks since I am blocked.

I wouldn't worry too much about Tuesday being the "busiest" day. I think the parks will open at 8am that whole week so you will have a 7am MM, which scares a lot of people off.

Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks for the feedback and advice.
It seems there are several variables to consider, plus a lot of uncertainty on predicting crowds. So, we will just make a plan and be flexible.
