Deciding Hilton or Pop

I’m really struggling on what to do but want to make a decision because of park reservations.
I currently have two trips right before Christmas.
Option 1 at pop 3 nights and 2 day ticket
Option 2 stay at Hilton Bonnet Creek 5 nights ( first night we arrive very late from driving ) and 2 or 3 day ticket.
Staying at pop is simple we go one park a day. Then leave to go to beach. With the holidays I know it would be packed so maybe better with skyliner and bus.
Hilton- we will have a few days at parks then go to beach.

Hilton is cheaper than pop- but we will not have as easy transportation and can’t charge at Disney to room.
I’ve stayed at both- Hilton when stayed didn’t got to parks.
Which would you do?

curious if fast pass is open- how does that work at bonnet creek? We’d buy tickets with Disney and the hotel is separate. How does MDE know if we get a perk with picking early since I thought Hilton is on-site?

Any opinions would be good.

The Bonnet Creek area is, legally speaking, not on Disney property - it’s a piece of land that Disney was never able to purchase. That said, pre-pandemic the Bonnet Creek Hilton and Waldorf Astoria were on the list of hotels that got early FP booking and other privileges, and MDE “knew” to grant those. I’m not sure which of those privileges have returned; obviously FP isn’t back yet. The hotel website should tell you (and be updated when things change). You might get more information on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board but be clear that you’re asking about the Hilton, not the Wyndham Bonnet Creek which doesn’t get any FP or other privileges from WDW.

Hilton Bonnet Creek is a world above the Pop pool, dining, room and amenities wise. But unless you’re renting a car I’d stick with a Disney property. You think you waited along time for a Disney bus! Try a shared 3rd party shuttle that still has to drop you off at the TTC!
