Took the plunge after much looking and pricing on the net, and booked the Wilderness Lodge for August 2010 with Free DDP.
Just have to wait till after this years trip , to decide how long we are going for, and book Flights and Hotels at Universal.

Noooo. You are turning to the Disney side.:rotfl: There is only you and me who usually spend all their holidays at Universal.

However, I do fancy Wilderness Lodge myself after seeing photos and reading reports on here. It looks a fantastic hotel.

Yeah ,i know, decided the free DDP was to good to miss ,and have not been at Disney for 4 years 5 when we go next year. usually there in July so will decide after this holiday wether we are going, for 4 weeks or 3, probably 4, as i would like to spend first 2 weeks at RPR

Four weeks is a glorious long time to be over there, I would vote for the 4 weeks, unless it spoils the rest of the holidays for year for you.:goodvibes

Some of the Disney hotels I have seen on the trip reports looks lovely. I especially like the ones with a balcony. I am not too interested in the DDP as we just like to go with the flow and eat when and wherever we are sort of thing.

im hoping to book wl too i think were planning on doing august next year too, hoping to talk hubby into the whole of the kids holidays out there, well 5 weeks anyway, hoping to look around to buy our own villa then too :goodvibes

wow what a good idea!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 - I never fancied taking the children in the school hols because of the weather - but if I took them for the WHOLE of the holidays we could just go REALLY slowly in the heat - great idea!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
