December Waitlist

We have three rooms booked at Pop Century December 25-January 1st and just found out we need one more. My travel agent said Disney doesn't have a waiting list - you just have to call everyday and check for cancellations. Has anyone ever been on a waitlist at Disney?

have you tried booking the one room at music, or a less popular resort?

I am hoping to luck out w XMAS, too,
I wanted to go at XMAS soo bad...its one of the two vacations that dd9 school and MY school bothe get off.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked and there is no availability at any value or moderate. I'll just keep calling, hoping for a cancellation.

Keep TRYING.
I checked and I checked, NOTHING under 3500.00, THEN, Friday night, I LUCKED OUT.
I kept changing the dates and I FINALLY got 12.24 - 12/29 at POR (Riverside).

That is correct, there is no waitlist for Disney. Keep calling every day, several times per day if you have the time. Cancellations sometimes do come up!

Hello my fellow MOUSE LOVERS...
I just wanted to pipe in and tell you to keep calling back...keep calling back,
I had 12/24 - 12/29 at Riverside but REALLY, REALLY wanted CBR...

Well, I just got off the phone w Disney and guess WHAT??? I traded my RIVERSIDE for CBR. WOO HOO.

LOL. Gotta change my siggy now.

I don't know if this is still true, but in the past the Disney reservation system updated their cancelations over night so if you called first thing in the morning, you had a better chance of getting what you want. Try calling at 7am. Good luck.
