December Waitlist Advise please

So, after getting off the Disney Magic this weekend, I was scattered and messed up on my window to swap my December ressie.

We are currently at BCV 2BR December 6-14. We want AKV Kidani 2BR for same time period but as of today only December 9-14 remains.

I had them put me on the waitlist for the entire stay, but my fear is eight nights will be tough to get on the waitlist. That said, I fear every day forward we will just lose more availability...was thinking of just booking what I can now, and taking my chances for the remainder on the waitlist.

BUT...really don't want to move if the waitlist doesn't work out.

Any advise/opinion on which would be the wiser option. I mean, worse things that staying at my beloved Beach Club, but the extra bathroom would be nice at Kidani.

Longer wait lists are harder, especially that time of year. Unfortunately, a split stay would be your only choice as you wait list. The one option that might help is to book what you can, wait list the remainder and then stalk the website. You may be able to get individual dates that way and then adjust the waitlist.

I would book the 9th to the 14th and wait list the rest. With any luck it will come through for the front end. I would also modify your existing reservation to go for the 6th to the 9th. Good luck!

I would take what you can now and waitlist the other days. In addition to that I would check on line availability everyday to see if individual days come available for your remaining waitlisted days. It's easier to get 1 day at a time vs several days together. Eventually you will be able to piece it all together. It will take time but I believe they will come through for you.

Thank you so much, friends. I went ahead and booked December 9-14 first thing this morning, and good thing too as the 9th is long gone now. I waitlisted for the first three days. I'm pretty sure I can piece meal it all together before December. Lots o' shufflling going on right now.
