I have a couple questions for all the restaurant experts out there...
My husband and I are heading to BCV and BWC from 12/11-12/17/02 (first 2 nights at BCV and last 4 nights at BWV). We will be with our 2.5 year old DD. The last time I took my husband to Disney, was in 1998 and we were newly weds and short on cash - so we did not go out to eat much - lots of counter service and in room breakfasts etc. He has teased me for the last 4 years about "starving him" at Disney. Soooo... this trip, I want to make it up to him, but we also have a 2.5 year old daughter to think about. So - here are my tentative plans for meals - I already have PS's for these 3 meals:
Cape May Character Breakfast on 12/13
Chef Mickey's dinner on 12/15
Boma dinner on 12/16
(Buffets because my husband is a big guy - 6'5" and my daughter loves to graze...plus thought the characters would be fun)
The other days, I thought about a Fantasmic dinner package (possibly Hollywood and Vine - make it easier DD - less waiting) and also lunch at Tempura Kiku (since we love sushi - but not sure how DD will do there - although she loves rice and shrimp...) and maybe dinner at Marrakesh (we love exotic food and thought the belly dancer would entertain DD).
However, I don't want to overplan - and have heard great things about the restaurants in BW area and about the clam bake at Cape May...
Sorry to be so long... anyone have any thoughts? Too much planning? Good restaurant choices? FYI- DD should do fine in restaurants - as long as they are mildly fast with service (hence the buffet choices) - she is a good eater - and when in doubt - chicken strips, french fries or rice do the trick.
Thanks in advance!
Sue
