December upgrade?

So, think this would be too much to ask when I check into the Contemporary December 19-27?

I was thinking of asking if they had an upgrade available or is that a question that will get laughed at or a total look of surprise on the CM's face?

You could ask, but don't be surprised if they say no or give you an additional charge. Your stay is over Christmas, they are probably going to be full. One thing you could do is check your dates on disneyworld.com before to go to see if there is availability for different types of rooms. If it's soldout, there is no sense asking.
