Which resort would you choose for the Christmas season? We are going either the first or second week of December. Any good deals? Any suggestions for the parks? Is it crowded then? We will be taking our 1 year old daughter with us (it is a trip for her birthday!) Any suggestions/tips will be appreciated.

awww!

The early weeks of december are a great time to go! The crowds are extremely low and the weather is cool...not freezing...but I nice break from the +90 degree weather from the summer months....holiday decorations are up and you can't help but get caught up in the holiday spirit!
I would suggest a monorail resort...this would allow for an easier commute for naps....I suggest the Poly...it has a great pool for your DD to swim in...and has a romantic feeling for you and your spouse...if money is a little on teh tight side...then try the WL as it allows for boat access to MK and is another great resort!
Crowds should be extremely low...and you should have no problem with seeing and doing everything...defiantley make a stop at playhouse disney...and try to see all the parks..not just MK for your DD...
For your DD birthday I say take her to a character breakfast at chef mickey's...the characters would have a blast with her...and vice versa...it will allow for great memories...
As for deals...disney usually does come out with a deal for this time of year...keep your eye on mousesavers.com and disneyworld.com...

hope I was of some help!

The first week of December is a great time to go. All the decorations are up for the holidays and all the hotels look beautiful. There are few crowds-that's the best part. You practically walk onto every ride.

We've gone that week for the past few years and it has become my favorite time to go. You do run the risk of it being cold but then again we've had 85 degrees too.

With a small child, your best best bet is a monorail resort.

Have fun planning!
