December Trip need help planning

So, we are planning our second trip to DL. We will be leaving Sunday November 30th and coming back home on Friday December 5th. We already know that we will be staying at HOJO's. This time we wont be renting a car, so what is the best way to get from SNA to HOJO with a young one that needs a car seat?? How good does the buses work from HOJO to DL? We would like to do another character meal. Last time we did the Ariel Grotto. Which would you recommend this time around and which meal???

Are you brining the car seat? If so, a taxi or Super Shuttle would work fine. I'm not sure of the car seat thing works with the Disneyland Express. ???

I've done all the character meals with the exception of Minnie's. And if I were to ever do one again, I would most definitely pick that one based on the most current reviews. It seems like they have the best amount of characters and interaction as well as decent food.
