Any suggestions on what to pack for a December 11 - 17 trip? I have heard all kinds of things about weather and have absolutely no idea what to expect.

I'd love to know as well! I'll be down there the same week for my first look at christmas in disney! I'm so excited!

Me too! I'll be there 12/20-12/27. First timer, so I have no idea what to expect...

:santa:

We've been the past 2 years in Dec. and we are going again. I pack for 7 nights 2 pair of pants, 1 long sleeve T shirt, 1 sweatshirt and jacket for everyone. Then I also make sure to have 3 pair of shorts and short sleeve t shirts. I pack for layers and all kinds of temps. We do pack bathing suits too. It has been warm enough the past 2 years to swim and the kids love it, as the pool is heated.

Having lived in Orlando for 8 years from the late 80's to the mid 90's (U of Central Florida as a student & employee), I can tell you that weather in Orlando can be very unpredictable. I honestly wouldn't even think about deciding what to bring until a month to a few weeks prior to arrival.

We're flying down from NC this coming Monday for our WDW trip and its going to be HOT as fire!

My husband and I were there 12/22/07 - 01/01/08 and the weather is hard to predict like the previous poster said. There were days where it was 85! We wore jeans/sweaters (or I did) in the evenings, but during the days it was SO warm. One day we actually left the park because we were minding the heat a lot. The temp's changed really quickly though because the day we left it was low 70's if that, and then the next day it was only in hte 50's.

I would pack a sweater, a light jacket, some shorts, a couple pairs of jeans and definately your bathing suit! We're going again this December, and I'm going to be watching the temp's leading up to our trip to decide how to pack!

we went the first week of December in 2006. It started off in the mid 80's and then by mid week it was in the 60's during the day and the low 50's at night! My advice is to pack for both types of weather! No rain though the whole week were there!
