So....it's confirmed, we're going again in December! Who is we exactly? Me (25), my DM and DD, and my DB (22). It will be our fifth time together as a family and probably our last trip together. We'll be deciding where we're staying this weekend but I wanna put together some restaurant options for the group. DD and I will pretty much eat anything, but DM and DB are rather picky so I have to take that in to account. We'll be on the dining plan with 6 counter service and 6 table service credits.

Day 1 - fly in; lunch at Pizzafari or Flame Tree BBQ; dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express
Day 2 - breakfast at Ohana, lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, dinner at Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbour House
Day 3 - snack credits for breakfast, use some counter-service credits to eat our way around World Showcase, dinner at Biergarten
Day 4 -snack credits for breakfast, counter-service credits in World Showcase, dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe or The Wave
Day 5 - snack credits at Starring Rolls for breakfast, lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe, dinner at Captain's Grille, Mama Melrose's or ESPN Club
Day 6 - spending the day at Universal
Day 7 - snack credits for breakfast, lunch at some counter-service in MK or HS, and fly home late

So what do you think??? All sit-down meals are new to us except for Whispering Canyon Cafe. Am I missing any must-do's? We're not looking for character meals, but also not opposed. Also, would you give up any two to do a signature meal??

I think Wolfgang Puck Express is a great choice. We ate there in Feb and used a CS credit. We loved it. Pizzafari is OK - but we liked it because it was the only indoor CS at AK and when we went - it was COLD. I'm also a big fan of Liberty Tree Tavern and I hear Columbia House is one of the best CS in MK. I'm not a big fan of Whispering Canyon, but we only went there for Breakfast. And you've been there before, so you know what it will be like. I liked 50's PT - but our waitress wasn't that great as far as being "in character". We'll be back there in Dec too. We weren't impressed with Mama Melrose - it was just OK.

We have some favorites that we like to go to each time we go - even though they're not the best on property. We do try to do some new stuff each time we go though. We love the Cape May Clambake (we love seafood) and we're trying the CP at MK for the first time in Dec - for dinner. This trip, we'll be going to the Candlelight Processional and eating at Le Cellier (if we can get in). That would be the only "signature" I would recommend trading 2 Dining Credits for. But that's just my opinion - we're big into Christmas. Good luck with your plan and have a great time! :cheer2:

On Day 2 I'd probably do CS for lunch and TS for dinner instead of two TS's in a row. You probably wouldn't be hungry enough by lunch having 'Ohana's for breakfast. Just my thoughts. :)

You have some great choices, enjoy!
