After many trips to see the mouse we planned to take a break for a while ... until the daughter started reading Harry Potter this summer!

- If we're in the parks Dec 20-22 I realize they'll be busy, but they shouldn't be Magic Kingdom busy, correct?

- If we arrive in the afternoon of the first half day then have 2 full days with early opening, can we enjoy all of the Harry Potter items in both parks? Would that also give us time to sample some of the other non Harry Potter attractions? We'll likely stay at Cabana Bay so will only have early admission and not express pass.

We've done all the Disney rides except Tower of Terror so we'd skip some of the more intense Universal roller coasters. Many thanks!

The parks aren't nearly as busy before Christmas as after. You should be fine. Take advantage of early admission by getting there extra early.

Ditto what damo said. Disney gets busier than Universal the week before Christmas. You should be able to do everything you want in both parks with that amount of time.
