December/January layout challenge... post here

Woohoo finally dragged out all the scrapbooking stuff, it's been almost six weeks since I've done any scrapping.

I'm working on a book of Family Ties that being shipped to cousin's in Italy. In the beginning of November there was a Birthday Party for a cousin. Took lots of pictures and now am putting together a book, on how the family has grown from 2 brothers and a cousin who left their native country and arrived at Ellis Island in 1908 to today. The book includes 6 generations. Completed 7 pages.

Also still working on our vacation album. Have not touched this since class ended in November.

There is a 4 hour scrapping night next Friday at one of the hotels in town, think I'll register.

I am going to join in for this one although I haven't really gotten anything completed yet. My goal for this year is to try my best to get caught up on my current pictures and then start to work backwards. I am going on several scrapbooking weekend trips this year, so I hope that I can get this done. I'll post again once I have pages completed to report.

the holidays are over (and I can only add 3 pages to my current total of 2 = 5)

BUT WATCH OUT NOW!

I'm reorganizing my scrap-crap and office, my little guy starts preschool on Monday AM and I am going to SCRAP and SCRAP some more! (Lord knows come summer nothings going to get done with the kids home, the new baby AND building a house!

Complete 8 more pages today. I think that brings my total to 18. I am hoping to get lots done this month. Moved a card table and scrap crap into our bedroom. DH may not get lucky this month, but I hope to get caught up on some of my books.

I haven't completed any pages yet, but I ripped apart one of the many photo albums my mother put together in the 70's - one of those horendous magnetic albums. Hopefully I can whip through putting that "back" together. And then I still have the Colors album I started for my niece back in October to finish. I've got most of every page done, but none of them complete yet. That should keep me busy scrapping this month. (Plus I've got lots to do to prepare for CKU in March. I decided to join an active "dorm" so there are several contests to work on.)

i'm in - glad to see i'm not the only one jumping in 1/2 through!

i have 15 rolls of my recent disney trip and that's where i'm starting! I have 3 cropping days planned for the first two weeks! i'm slow though - i just hope to get busy with it!

I did get a new "desk" - one from staples, really a computer desk but it's my scrapping station. i'm organizing today--dropped by to read all your wonderful organization tips

thanks for the Jolee-disney heads up! they are awsome!!! wish they had some holiday ones too!

Completed 7 more pages this takes my total up to 14. Hope to work on my vacation album all day tomorrow.

I finally got caught up on DS 8 book. He is the only one who is up-to-date. I only have one more page to do in DD's book and she will be done. Literally. I am going to have to buy her a new one since her current one will be full. Then, I just have DS 7 to scrap, our family album (which am at Spring Break 2003) and DD's Girl Scout Album which is about 6 months behind.

The good thing is I just finished journaling 4 more pages so my total is at 22. Yahoo!!! I haven't done 22 pages in the past four months so I am really excited. I am planning on scrapping at my LSS tomorrow so I hope to have several more pages done to add to this.

Woohoo!!! I've got a whole 2 pages done. But considering I haven't actually finished any pages in months, this is a big accomplishment. I sure hope I can keep the ball rolling here.

Scrapping along completed 14 pages today on my vacation album. Bring my total up to 28 pages. WooHoo!

My tape is running smoothly. I'll be away today, and I really need to get these Christmas Decorations put away. A few day hiatus but I'll be back stronger then ever with lots of new pictures and plenty of tape.

I finished 6 more pages today so that brings my total to 28. DD's book is done, too. One less book that I need to see out on the work table.

I did 5 more pages yesterday which brings my very sad total to 7 pages. I'm almost done with a farewell album for a co-worker need to count up those pages and will post that total by the end of the week.

I still have no pages to report in yet for this challenge. I am going cropping Friday night and then going on a cropping weekend retreat at the beach in a couple of weeks, so I should have something to report in over the weekend. Keep up the great work everyone.

I thought that I had posted myself in for the Dec/Jan challenge a few weeks ago, but I don't see my post here (?????). Anyhow, there is no way I can keep up with you all this month, so maybe I'll try again in Feb. My "free days" between Christmas and New Years, when I was going to dismantle the tree and scrap like crazy, I spent with a stomach bug. The tree finally got out the door today, but now I have to pack for our upcoming trip to visit the mouse. So my scrapping center will be turning into "packing central" for the time being. Talk to you all in Feb!!...............P

Have a great vacation, my countdown has started 34 days till AKL and Cocoa Beach.

With the temp hovering somewhere around 0 for the next week or so, I sure wish it was February.

Started a new album for Caoilinn 2 pages completed, brings my total to 30. I'm at a standstill, need to take a few more pictures before I can get my film developed. Then I'll be able to finish the Family Tie's album. There outdoor pictures and I just haven't felt like doing them. I may regret not taking the pictures during the December thaw. Once the film is developed I'll be starting in the, Gingerbread, Nutcracker, Christmas Album.

Went to my LSS on tues an scrapped from 10a-3:30pm. Got 14 papges done. Which brings my total to 21 so far.

OK -
I finally got my bedroom-scrap area- ofice space all organized and in order so tomorrow - I START scrapping! With Matthew starting preschool I hope to get in at least 6 hours a week of scrapping now

At that rate I should get caught up with the pictures I have by the year 2067

Been working on spring break 2003 still, but I have only finished 1 more page. I have several I need to journal or add something here or there. Printed some journaling on velum yesterday so it should be dry today to add. I think that leaves my total to 29. At work right now (babysitting high schoolers in drafting class so not really work) so I am not exactly sure on my count. Will post again after I finish last spring break pages.
