We are making our first trip to Disney for Christmas. I know all of you probably think I am crazy, but I can live with that. I think everyone must need to experience the crowds at least once in their lives :rotfl2:

Anyways, I have searched many times for answers to these questions, I just can't find them. Hopefully some of you can help me.

I am trying to find more information on park capacity. We are not staying at a Disneyland park hotel. I assume that it will reach it's max while we are there, especially on Christmas day. So do you think the only way we will get in is if we are there at park opening? If we leave mid day for the kids to nap, is it pretty much a given that we won't get back in? I am hoping that we could get there later on Christmas day so we can spend the whole day at the park and not worry about not getting back in. We aren't going on the weekends surrounding Christmas, do you think there will be other days the park will rach capacity?

My daughter will be almost 3 years old. She turns 3 in January. Am I going to have to carry around ID for her to prove her age? Will they even question it if I tell them she is 2? She looks like the average 2/3 year old. We are doing at least 2 character meals, will I be questioned for those as well?

Thank you for your help. Sorry if you are sick of these questions over and over again!!

The only way to guarantee your admission to the park is to get there within the first hour or so, preferably an hour+ before park opening. I wouldn't risk leaving the park to go nap because you aren't necessarily guaranteed admission back in. I would just try renting a large stoller and taking in a long show or two during "nap time". As for other days reaching capacity, I wouldn't worry about any other days other than Christmas; however, it is very possible that any day in the week between Christmas and NY that the park could hit its limit.

I would carry around an ID just as evidence, but for the most part they will probably trust you with her age.

I've seen countless people say that Disney isn't allowed to ask for ID, and that beyond just asking you (and maybe your daughter), they'll just believe you.

I, personally, brought DS's birth certificate (in a ziplok bag), but we were traveling by plane anyway and I always travel with it when going on a plane. So I didn't need to do anything special, to remember it.

But you shouldn't *need* it.

Hi!! I will be there at the same time!:thumbsup2 I have never been questioned about my baby's age. She is 2, but could pass for a 4yo with no problem! This is her next to her almost 6yo brother!:lmao: And he isnt small for his age!
