OK I am very close to booking a 3 day for ONLY me and DH from Dec. 4-7. Questions:
1) should we fly in the night before and get a room at the airport? It would be late because I would have to work 12/3.
2) is the ship decorated for the holiday by then?
3) is it warm enough to swim usually?
Thanks for any info.
Robin M.

Yes, yes, and yes.

We always fly in the night before (we have to, since we fly from LA), but I like having the extra time, especially when travelling in the winter. We stay at the Hyatt, which is right in the airport terminal. This is more convenient (and more expensive) than having to get a shuttle to an off-property hotel, but might be something you want to consider if you're going to arrive late at night.

I think they decorate the ship right after Thanksgiving. We've sailed the first week in December on the Magic and it was decorated then.

The Bahamas should be warm enough to swim. It was a bit cool at Castaway Cay, because it was overcast, but the water was warm enough to swim in.

Hi Robin,

We'll be on that cruise...maybe we'll meet! We were on the Dec. 15-19 Wonder cruise last year; the water at Castaway Cay was very cold! The ship's pools are nice though because they're heated.
