December crowds

Crowds are light in early December...it's a great time to visit.

we did the first week of Dec in 2010.....it was unusually cold, but it was fantastic!!

We will be there 11/27 -12/8 as well! We were planning to go to Universal on Sunday 12/2 or Monday 12/3. Does Universal have a "best day". Also what are your opinions on paying the extra money for the express passes during that time?

Either day would be fine since the parks are generally slow during that time of year. You will not need EPs that week but if you wanted them, it's best to wait until you arrive before purchasing. The EPs are date/park specific and most importantly...unrefundable.
