December Availability

I will be closing on my resale in the next 14 days. I should be in the system by the end of February. I want to book a quick weekend trip at my home resort (VWL) for two weekend nights in early December. The fact that I will be about 9 months out, do you think I will still have a shot? I would only need a studio. What are my chances of getting that room? I know I am still only competing with VWL owners so that is a plus, but don't know how busy weekends are that time of year (assuming busy).

Also, if I do get lucky, can I waitlist BLT at that time or will I have to call back to waitlist once they start taking ressies in March?

You should have a good shot but VWL is the smallest resort and very popular over Christmas.

You can't wait list BLT until it's your turn.

I think you may have a good shot.

Before we added on at VWL we booked early Dec at the 7 month mark. I would call as soon as your in the system.

I know for a fact that at the 7 month mark the room we were going for went THAT day. There were a couple of us here on the DIS going for the same day/room and some got it, and others were waitlisted.
