December peak crowds
First time poster here. We are planning a trip near Christmas. It seems to make sense that the crowds would swell after Dec. 19th, when most schools begin their holidays. I have always heard that the 26th-31st were the busiest of the year (we will avoid that), but what do you veterans and experts think about the 19th-24th? We have been several times, never at Christmas, and need as much help as we can get as we are taking my husband's elderly parents. I guess I want to know if we'll be able to even walk around and enjoy the week since Christmas is on Friday this year. Thank you so much!

Christmas is the busiest time of year. The crowds will probably build each day you are there. So each day I would go for EE and get the big attractions done. Save the shopping and misc. activities (water parks--if it's not too cold, golf, etc.) for closer to the 12/24 and 12/25. You CAN have a great time during these dates, but don't spend it waiting in long attraction lines. Make PS for every meal. You can cancel if you don't need them, but being hungry in a crowded place is no fun::MickeyMo
