We have gone several times during Christmas week between Christmas Eve and New year's Day (my son is a new year's eve baby). Oh so crowded but we love it so much we're doing it again this year. The holiday spirit, the people, the decorations, the atmosphere, even the weather are all great that time of year in Disney (we're from CT). It even snows (fake) in Disney at Christmas! Don't know how it's going to be this year but if Disney is open, and we don't get into another out of state quarantine again, we'll be there!
Hands down busiest time u can go and first we went during this time, was almost miserable and I swore it off forever but being this is only time my family can take off together for an extended time, we continued to do it and still do today. Once u learn how to navigate and get a mindset, its def incredible time of year. If u count the day we fly in and fly out, were actually there for 16 days. We have over 200 days combined in December and only had wear jacket 2 days and maybe 8 days with jeans and sweater, rest of time was shorts and tee shirts but keep in mind we don't stay in park til midnight, usually 8pm is our limit. I will say though, watching the weather for years now, it does seem the beginning of December tends to get the colder spells.
