December at HH

On the way home we decided that we are going to stop by HH to check it out. We are just spending 1 day there and I was wondering if they still do activities during December since it is colder than summer? Thank in advance!

Yes, most of the resort activities are still offered in December. If the weather doesn't cooperate, alternative programs are usually offered.

We were thinking of going for New Years Eve/New Years Day. Does HH do anything special for ringing in the New Year??

Thank you! Good to hear. We will most likely be leaving Disney early in the morning to get most of the day there.

We were there last year for NYE. They had a party out by the pool. If I remember, it was kind of cool, but fun just the same. some dancing, party favors etc.

we arrived on the day after Christmas to snow it was large flakes falling but they didn't stick around for very long, but pretty just the same.

I am interested in this thread as we were looking to doing the same thing in December on our way down to Orlando. We usually stop overnight in Georgia, but thought HH would be a fun place to stay. It would give us an opportunity to check it out for future vacation planning. I'm a little afraid I will like it TOOOO much! Our dilemma is that we might have 5 people and I don't want to spend points on a 2 bedroom for just an overnight stay. I am glad to hear that December has planned activities at the resort!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like HHI might be a good alternative to WDW for the holidays.

Has anyone spent the holidays at Vero Beach - It should be a little warmer then HHI
