Wow! With which cruise line? I've only been to Sydney once, for a Robbie Williams concert, for a weekend. We did a water taxi ride over to the zoo and loved the zoo but the water taxi ride was rather bumpy.

There's one on Celebrity from San Francisco and one on Carnival from LA. They're both a couple days over 3 weeks.

I think they're repositioning ships to Australia so it's one-way. Found a deal that includes the flight home. In the meantime--WDW--TOMORROW!

Hmm. Interesting. I know that more Australians are taking to cruising than ever before and we are getting a bigger choice of lines to choose from, I'd just like a greater variety of itineraries. It's really only the South Pacific, New Zealand or Indonesia. Yes, the downside of living so far from everywhere else.

Cruises departing from the west coast are very limited too. We can do Alaska, Mexican Riviera, Hawaii, and some coastals. Many are seasonal. Not a lot of ports with good snorkeling either. What can you do??? Anyway we're at the airport heading to WDW

I cant believe only 10 weeks till we cruise.....time is really starting to move now...
Only 8 weeks till I leave for Seattle and get to meet my new granddaughter....

Ok, so here is my news:

My two sisters and their husbands, along with Wally and I are booking a Hawaiian cruise on Royal Caribbean for 5/2/15. 13 day cruise. We are flying into Honolulu, board the ship on 5-2 it is docked there until 10pm on 5/3. We then go to Kauai, docked from 8 to 5. We then go to Maui from 5/5 to 5/6 we leave there and head to Kailua Kona docked from 8-6. Then we sail past Mount Kilauea (active volcano) at midnight. We then dock at Hilo from 8-5.
We then have 5 sea days which brings us to Victoria B.C. on 5/14 docked from 8-6. We then disembark on 5/15 at Victoria B.C.

So Wally and I have had a long talk last night, he is going to go back to the orthopedic regarding his back issues to see if something can be done. He seems pretty excited about the cruise. (he still feels bad he is not joining us on this one) so hopefully the Ortho doc can do some magic and help him out.

So my sisters are doing all the leg work, and we will most likely book today..
so I guess I wont be re-booking on board on this cruise.

Hello! Welcome aboard. We've got some activities we've been discussing on the FB page if you care to check them out. We are talking about a pre cruise meet at WDW, many of us have bookings at Palo for brunch, a wine 'crawl' tasting in cabins that happily involves having a peek at other cabin types (for future booking reference), possibly a golf game, and more. There's a FE group too, the first one has closed but you can sign up for the second one.
