December 27 MK Hour Question

Hi.
Right now the MK hours are 8 am - 1 am, with EMH starting at 7 am for December 27, 2014.

In past experience, do you think that the MK will open prior to 7:00 am on December 27? Do you think it is a possibility that the MK will stay open later than 1 am? Right now, December 26 is showing a closing time of 3 am. We are staying at BLT.

I will be at MK with my almost 21 year old dd while my dh and ds are home and meeting us the following night. I would love for the MK to stay open to 3 am but don't know if that has been a reality in the past.

We will be having a late dinner at V&A the evening of December 26 (9:00 pm) and figure we will get up early on December 27, hit the parks very early with the promise of coming back, napping and going back at at night (I have my FP+s) but hoping to do 3 am since we have never done that before.

1. The ticket gates will open, say, 15-20 minutes early to allow guests to get
ready to see the Rope Drop Ceremony starting at 6:55AM-ish.

2. Hmmmmm, who knows?
There are several times throughout the year when they announce MK will be staying open
an extra hour or two... announced not until the DAY-OF.
Again, who knows?

My dd will not be happy but I think we will walk over and get to the MK by 6:30 am. I won't tell her though until much closer to the date LOL
