**December 2025 Check-In Thread**

We decided to take advantage of the park hopper deal and booked to arrive on 12/09 for three nights. Staying at the DL hotel. We love GCH but I won’t pay those ridiculous prices for a hotel so busy that one cannot enjoy the lobby. We stayed at the DL hotel last holiday season and really enjoyed it.

Shockingly got the reservations I wanted for early December. I looked at the Disboards and a little voice in my head said, "Are you 60 days out?" And I was. I was exactly 60 days. Thankfully a Thursday wasn't the most sought-after day.

A reminder to try looking for different number/size of groups. 2 person reservation can say nothing available but 3 will have spots available or what have you.

I couldn't get a reservation for my group of 5, but I got a four seat reservation and my wife unbeknownst to me got a reservation 10 minutes after mine for four people. She called Disney and they said to his keep both reservations to guarantee we have spots in the restaurant.

Blue Bayou lunch because my sister in law has never done it. The last visit my wife and I were fighting (Yay Disney trips lol) during our lunch there and it was the most expensive argument we ever had. (Fantasmic 3 course package for four $$$). I can look back on it now and laugh but such is life.

Storytellers Cafe dinner. This will be our third time there. Can't say good enough things about the food. Yes, there are rare characters there, but besides the night time churros and red wagon corndogs, it's the best food to be had in the park.

That was the last unknown to our plans. Now we play the waiting game and see what other options Disney shows us!

Get out of the way Halloween! Bring on the wreaths and gingerbread I have to stand in line for!

Anyone else struggling to get reservations at 60 days out? Carthay Circle dinner on December 7 (Sunday) went in under 30 seconds, I didn’t even see it. And I was checking from 5:59 PST.

I’m also wondering if Trader Sam’s is closed for a few days, I saw some plans were filed to update various things like effects. I’ve been checking from 3am PST daily as I know they come up early, nothing has definitely been made available
