Hi, I haven't been on this forum for years but I have booked another trip.

Me and my 6yr old son are going on the 13th December until the 17th, staying in Newport Bay.

Anyone have any idea of how busy it is during those dates. It's my little boys last week of school that week, so hoping most schools haven't broken up by then.

I think I read somewhere once that they have fake snow coming down, is that true?

Do children have the chance to meet father christmas or just see him in the parade?

Thanks x

We went the week of Dec 11th a few years ago and the park was dead, pretty much everything was a walk on. Longest queue we stood in was to buy food!

And yup, the make it snow on Main Street! Its not continuous though so make sure you hang around there for a little bit during your trip.

I think you can meet Santa in his Grotto but i'm not 100% sure on that.

Enjoy your trip ^_^

we were there last year, from Sunday 14th December through to Weds 17th, it was busier than I expected, and the weather was awful, so hopefully you'll get cold but mainly dry, rather that blowing rain/sleet and freezing fog!

The parks are stunningly beautiful at xmas season, there are xmas shows and santa in his grotto in frontierland.
