December 2013.

Now I've looked and noticed that it is the beginning of Pop Warner and the taping of the holiday parade, and a MVMCP. I guess it will be crowded!
Thanks for reading my post, and jump in if you have any suggestions! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Congrats on your trip! I was there last week for Pop Warner (and again this year) and the crowds at the park were not bad at all. I have heard that the taping can be crowded and if possible to avoid the MK that day but if you can make it around the crowds then the lines are pretty nice for the rides. I originally was going to go the first week but decided against it because I did not want to deal with the parade, Awesome on booking your trip and being able to stay onsite! You can't get better than that :cheer2:

Thanks! I was thinking of MK on Sat, which will be taping, but I like your comment that shorter ride lines could compensate for the parade crowds!

Should not be on the web so much. Happened to notice that I had enough southwest points for 3 one way trips, and an 2APs (mine and DD14) burning a hole in my pocket. Booked Dec 5 to Dec 8 at ASMu for a surprise trip! Only had to purchase one one way airfare at $200. Not bad. Went online and originally found no availability for any value, called while surfing again, and while the CM tried to sell me on offsite or CS, ASMu preferred popped up at a non discounted rate and I grabbed it!! It is at 114 and 134 per night, which is discounted!pixiedust: Can you tell I'm excited? That's so exciting!! I can't really help w the pop warner and taping dilemma, but I was wondering how the CM was trying to sell you on offsite??? Sounds odd coming from a CM doesn't it?

Yes I was so surprised!! She was a strongly pushing her suggestions. I have never had a cm offering offsite! She was offering downtown disney hotels and Coronado suites!
So glad I have value onsite!

The FP+ being attached to my AP is new to me. I've heard nothing has happened for AP holders yet just resort guests. if it's true that's great!

I have seen many posts from AP holders telling of their experiences getting the APs converted early instead of waiting until their next visit. It looks like the first step is to add your AP info into your MDE. There are a lot of comments about having problems with this (as well as other MDE linking issues) and that they contacted guest services to get it straightened out. Someone posted that resort guests are getting priority for fixing the problems...based on their check in date.

Of coarse there are those that said they linked everything...no problem. So good luck

My AP is already linked to MDE - doesn't matter you need to have a reservation at a Disney resort right now. Hopefully things will change but right now you need to have a ressie on site!!!!!
Most of the problems w linking has to do w tickets from UT, so I've heard.

Also I don't need to convert my APs. I've always had RFID cards.

Fp+s are open for December arrivals now if you are within your 60 days.

Thanks for staying up late !!:yay: I am all set for early December now. Even went back in after picking "their" times and changed to "my" times. Only one I couldn't get perfect was EE in AK wanted early but 11:50 was best I could get ! Was fun picking them and they all show up now in my itinerary :dance3:

I can't believe I just did this too!
It is fun to set this up, if you have the FP for the headliners, the rest of the day presents itself to you so much more leisurely!. But if I was not a stay at home mom with some good free time these days, I'm not sure if I would like to have to pre-plan it all!:goodvibes

I made all my FPs between 3-4am. I too am a stay at home mom, but I know there is no way I could have done it during the day. You need to tell me your secret.

I set up most of my fp+'s to match the park that we will be in for an ADR. Unfortunately the hour long gap in times makes it a little hard to get them to fit in. I think there will be some that I never get to, and a lot of them that I'll be changing.

Now that we are getting close, only 44 days to check in, it is beginning to feel real now. ::yes::

Well I really should have a job, but I've been out of the workforce so long, have no relevant skills. :sad2: Going to look for some volunteer work soon.:) My kids are spaced far apart, youngest in HS now and older one is on his own!

I totally understand. I have only been out of the workforce for 5 years and fell that way. My kids are 4, 3 & 3. Really wish I had spaced them out, but I started late.

44 days until Disney!!

Hey you never get what you think you want. I didn't want 9 years between mine, but I am at peace now, and really happy about it. You'll be glad in a few years they are so close in age! I'm sure you hear this all the time, but time flies! How did I get so old?;):wave2::wave2::wave2:

I spent the weekend setting these up. It was fun but frustrating at the same time if you are not a planner because you really need to know where you're going to be on what day.

Oh, well, 53 more days to go.

I'll be in Disney Dec 5 - 9 @ YC.
I'm doing some last minute planning and updating. Also looking to see if there is any news I should be aware of. Love this forum! :thumbsup2

It's early but I'm itching about the weather. I make my girls' clothes and I wonder how warm they should be :) Obsessing over here.

Going 12/14 to 12/21. So excited, just added La Nouba to the itinerary. :woohoo: Have wanted to see this for some time but I thought it was expensive and if I found a deal, it was never for the date I was in WDW. Finally, they have a deal on category 2 seats from 10/29 to 12/20 on Travelzoo. :yay: Still debating if I should add a day at Universal Studios. I want to experience the Transformers ride and get a pic. But right now, the itinerary is very heavy. I'm attending the Christmas party and want to attend the Candlelight Processional at least two days.
