QUESTION: Can not seem to find the answer to this anywhere. So, we go to the MK one morning on a day that there is going to be the MVMCP and we don't leave and stay for the party. Is that how it goes? Or do they close the park EARLY and then let MVMCP people in?

Question got answered. Thanks

For those that do not know: There are wrist bands that the event goers have to wear. If a cast member sees you without a band they will escort you out of the park.

From what I understand there will be a couple places within the park tht you can get your Party wristband, no need to go back to the entrance. I am torn about going for the entire day or will it just be too much and better to do MK on another day and not the same night of MVMCP

If you have tickets for the party, you will get a wristband. If you are already in the park, there will be a station set up so you can get your wristband without going to the front of the park - usually somewhere close to the Hub. You just show your ticket and get a wristband.

If you do not have a ticket to the party, you have to leave the park at 7pm.

They do not close the park but starting at 7pm CMs will be checking for wristbands.

Hello! I'm so excited about finding this thread. My son and I are heading to WDW on December 30th.

How far in advance can we make ADR, I think it's only 6 months in advance online, but is it possible to book earlier by phone?

180 days from December 30 is July 3rd. So if you are staying onsite you can make up to 10 days of reservations on July 3rd.

The phone line opens at 7am eastern time and the online reservations open at 6am eastern time.

Hello! I'm so excited about finding this thread. My son and I are heading to WDW on December 30th. I've taken my first stab at a PTR but I'm new, so I can't post the link just yet.

Found your PTR and added it. You are also on the Roll Call now! :thumbsup2

You can check my 2nd post on here for the "Historical discount" to see if Free Dining was offered in the past.

O yay! Thanks, hopefully its the same as last year then I can get free dining and even 2 day tickets for cheaper rate :cool1:

Ugh. Trying to book a stay from 12/22 on, but just got a PIN code for 30% off a stay until 12/20. They sent the PIN in an email noting my "SAVED" travel plans for a stay from 12/22 to 12/28. So, I'm thinking they will NOT offer any discount beyond 12/20.:headache:

Disneymom0709 -- I booked the DDP, but not the deluxe, so mine is the one with 1 TS, 1CS and 1 snack for each night of stay. I've had this one twice before and it works well for us. When we went in December 2010 I used a lot of our snack credits at breakfast, but when we went just this past April I found we used our snack credits for ice cream and cold drinks most often. On that trip I just paid for breakfast, which was usually about $10 for me and my son. I would do the deluxe if we were going to do more signature dining, but for this trip I'm sticking with the middle plan.

Tofubeast -- Thank you for updating my info, I feel right at home now :)

cjlvsccm -- I'm going to be at AoA at about the same time! Are you in a family suite or in the double room? We will be in The Little Mermaid regular room, I can hardly wait to see it. :yay:

Thanks for the answers on the ADR dates...I'm setting a reminder for July 3rd to make my reservations!

We have about 145 of us on the Roll Call. I can't even imagine how long this list is going to be in a few more months. What in the heck did I get myself involved with?!?! :lmao:

For everyone who likes to look at best/worst park predictions like I do, Josh has his preliminary December up: http://www.easywdw.com/dec12-u1.jpg

YES!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for posting some juicy info ses1230.

The reason I'm so happy, :cool1: 1 of my worries have just been laid to rest. According to the December calendar you posted, the parade will be taped the weekend before I arrive.

YAY!!!! The tree at the Magic Kingdom will be up and I don't have to worry about being interviewed by Nick Cannon :mic: .

Now I just have to worry about the cheerleaders and their moms :cheer2: when I get to POR.

Ok, I can decode most of Josh's calendar, but what does the bottom line represent?:confused3

He has the data explanations here (you'll need to copy/paste, my low post count limits me from linking): easywdw.com/category/calendar/11-november-2012-crowd-calendar

Thanks for posting this ses1230, adjusting my spreadsheet accordingly...I had 3 days on the "not recommended" days, so it's a huge help!

I've been stalking easywdw all week waiting for the calendar. Looks good! Looking forward to reading his daily analysis. It seems to be shaping up really well for me. I'd like to work in more Epcot....

6 days in the World to see and do it at one time seemed enough. Not anymore :rotfl:

My ADR that I am thinking about are

Trex cafe lunch & mickey backyard bbq dinner

-Princess storybook & Scifi Diner
-Chef Mickey or CRT & hopefully fingers crossed Be Our Guest

- 1900 Park Fare & Cape May Dinner

Ohana Breakfast

and some QS for when we get back from the parks to the hotel etc
