Jumping on too. We are hoping to go Dec 8-16 at Pop Century. DH wants to wait to book since we are going to be moving in June and he wants to finish up with the house closing before we book. Our last trip was in August of 2010 and DH said he would never go in the summer again, crowds were not bad but he was not happy in the extreme heat. I was fine with that, am so excited to see the Christmas decorations.
Hoping for FD but any discount will help my case.

Anyone have any luck getting discounts on their pin for other dates? Even if it isn't the whole 30% we would like to stay on property. Our kids haven't stayed on site before and we would like them to have that experience.

That would be perfect for my dates! I'll keep hoping & praying that I get one in the mail.

I would just call & see if you can use it for any other dates....never hurts to ask!

Going in December myself. 12/26(late arrival, no park time)-12/28 at POFQ, just DW and I and then late 12/28-1/5 at SOG with parents, grandparents, sister, b-i-l, niece, aunts and uncles. I would love to get a room only code(only time I'll ever say that, DW and I are foodies and would prefer FD any other time) for those first few nights and upgrade to a deluxe. With a group that size no flexibility on dates, oh well.

May be the wrong place but since I'm here, anyone got any must see New Years Eve tips for MK, the park we plan to be in all day(I do know to get there early and to stay)?

I've been hearing about how everyone's been getting different PIN codes and was starting to get worried. well i FINALLY got an offer via email tonight for 10% off room only. dates were through June but I was able to plug in our dates Dec 3-8 for WL and we would be able to save $174! May hold off though for something better...

We've been hearing about the codes too, so I went ahead and called to see if they had anything for me. There was a 30% room discount, so we're booked for POR Still holding out for a free dining offer later this year

I am so sad! I spent the last two days with dd finalizing our December trip. I went online today and they released next years school schedule. We always get two weeks for Christmas break. Next year, we get only one week. Starting on Christmas Eve! I was so looking forward to a mom/daughter trip!

The only people with December discounts at this point are the lucky few who got a personal PIN Code discount good only for themselves. General public discounts for December were not announced until late August last year.

for the first time ever lol I finally got a pin code....but it is for Feb...wth? Not much time given there lol....of course not using it.....going in December! But, I did what someone else had posted on one of the boards to get it...start a reservation....go almost all the way through and back out of it...worked like a charm!

I know people have gotten codes for early December but I suspect now that I'm booked, I won't. I can't cancel though because we're booked into a 2BDR at BWV and I'm not taking a chance on losing it. The discount would help a lot but there are no guarantees, and if i'm going to have to pay rack rate, the 2BDR is the best bang for our buck.

We booked in mid January and just received a PIN in the mail yesterday - so you still might get a PIN. Sending Pixie dust your way!!

I received a PIN in the mail today! 30% off and worked perfect for our dates I was able to save over $1000 on Our Poly reservation. I'm thrilled!! I will tell you, about a week ago I updated my profile on Disney site. I filled in ALL the info on travelers, traveling month, dining preferences, activities etc etc.....A coincidence or not?

Hi - I am new here, just received a GAME ON PIN for 10% for November dates. Tried it for my dates Dec 2 - 8, 2012, POFQ and it works - will allow me to book package, but discount is only on room...
Just wanted to check with all of you experts - I think I should book room only now, can add park and dining at full price anytime, and keep hoping for Free Dining? can I change the number of days? (should I book 8 days, when we may only be able to do 7, and cancel one later, rather than try to add one later?)
