December 2012 CANCELLED ADR Thread - Read 1st Post

You're very welcome! I am just sad that I can't use it. My husband took a new job and we had to cancel our annual camping trip. Very glad to hear that you can benefit from it though!

Like many of you I have been following this thread and checking the online system daily for 3 months now looking for an 'Ohana ADR that would work with our schedule. This one is PERFECT! So I went out and searched but couldn't see it, for a party of 4, and figured someone else grab it before me. But just to be sure I checked party of 6 and there it was. After seeing nothing available 1,000 of times I was almost in shock. I grabbed the reservation. Before I forget - thank you mouseketeermama for posting your cancelation!

Am I bad person? I don't need the 2 extra seats but the system would not allow me the ADR any other way. I beleive I've read that at check in we can let the CM know we are only a part of 4 and all will be forgivin (no cancelation fee for the two "missing guests".

Garden Grill is not open for lunch, only dinner (ADRs available between 3-8pm). One way you might be able to get in there is with a Candlelight Processional package. If you have the DDP, it will cost 2TS credits though, but you do get guaranteed seating at the CP show and VIP viewing for Illuminations. Good luck!

ETA: just checked the online ressie system and GG is available for the CP package on 12/12 for a party of 13. You can eat there at 3:15p or 3:30p for the 6:45p CP show; or eat there at 4:30p or 5:15p for the 8:15p CP show. I didn't check your other dates, but they might have availability too.

Thank you so very much!! We got our reservation at the Garden Grill! I have heard so many wonderful things about this place and I know the kids will love it! Plus VIP VIEWING for Illuminations and CP show this makes our chirstmas vaction complete! Im all smiles now!! Thank you again! We scheduled a 520 on 12/11.

Hello everyone

I hope everyone is well. I just wanted to post for those who will be in at Disney World on Christmas day and are wanting to eat at the Be Our Guest Restaurant. We had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant last weekend for both lunch and dinner at the AP previews. Since we were blessed with the opportunity and given that lovely magical moment, we decided to cancel our Christmas Day reservation so that someone else can have the opportunity to enjoy it. I have not cancelled it yet, if someone is interested let me know and I will go and cancel it and hopefully you can have a chance to get it. It is for December 25th, 2012 at 5:10 PM for two adults. This restaurant is booked until March and since it is the newest eatery in the world it is in high demand. Hopefully someone can grab it and enjoy a lovely romantic dinner and this super delicious restaurant on Christmas Day. I will wait to see if anyone is interested, if not I will be releasing it in the next hour. Good luck and happy holidays!

This is so nice of you! Can you tell us the differences between lunch and dinner? I can't decide if I should keep trying for dinner or be happy with just lunch! THANKS!!

Tonight, at about 6pm I will be cancelling Le Cellier 12/8 @ 7:20 for 4. There happens to be availability for this same date and time on the WDW website right now too.

I will also be cancelling Kona Cafe breakfast 12/11 @ 7:50 for 4

and O'hana breakfast 12/14 @ 7:30 for 4

I'm still contemplating cancelling Mama Melrose (fantasmic pkg) 12/10 @ 3 as well.

I too am interested in what the difference in the two is I'm trying to work out if we should try lunch there or not... We were lucky enough to get dinner but was curious about the new counter format.

Also disneyfan888 do you mind letting us know if someone is sucsessful in getting your dropped BOG ADR? There have been conflicting reports whether or not Dec BOG ADRs go back into the system (potentially not due to overbooking).

I think it would help others looking to hear what happens. Thanks!
