Sign me up! We just decided to go over the holidays. We've been at Christmas before, but our kids haven't. I can't wait for them to see the Osbourne Lights and experience a Disney Holiday Season!

I guess we need to get signed up for this code watch too! We have decided to go to the parks for a couple of days before our cruise and a code can only help a girl out!! I've read that past Dec. codes have come out in August. I'd be happy with a AP rate. Is there any chane for free dining in December? Has it happened over the holidays?

Okay, this is probably a stupid question because I could probably find the answer if I searched the boards enough. If you book a room-only reservation or a package reservation for December now and then they release a code or you receive a PIN (which is doubtful for me!) later on, can you apply that discount to your reservation?

Looking at mousesavers to see the historic release dates for discounts, it could be sometime in August before we have anything for December. I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to wait until August to reserve my vacation. That gives us only 4 months.

Yes! At least that is the case with a room only reservation. I don't typicallly book packages so I don't know about them.

We went Dec 06. I booked 2/06 at the AAA package rate and then waited. When the package discount came out thru Disney, I was able to apply that to our reservation and it ended up being a bigger discount than the original one thru AAA. Just called AAA and had them apply the code.

I booked a package through AAA as well but for this year, What kind of deals came out for Dec, Last Year? My agent told me that if a better deal comes along, I can apply it to my package, So Im just curious as to what kind of deals have came out for Dec, in the past. TIA

Just booked a 4 day cruise + 6 days at Disney. We will spend X-mas on the cruise and new years eve at DW. I cannot believe I am planning this far in advance. Now the challange is to keep it secret from the kids.

We'll be on a cruise for Xmas as well and will dock on Dec. 29th and then we'll be spending the New Years week at WDW! This is our first WDW trip and we're sooo excited!! After reading this thread and others like it, it seems that WDW does a big production for the holidays ... OH, it's also our 20th wedding anniversary too! I read somewhere that we need to let them know that somewhere? Oh well, I'm just excited to be going during this time with my family.

A code came out thru Disney (I think it was in August). It ended up saving us another $200+ off our package (10 day/Pop, 1 Day tkts(already had leftover ones) & dining for 2 adults and 1-6 year old).

I've already booked our trip through Dreams Unlimited for December. They too will automatically apply discounts. My question is if I pay off my trip (which I plan to do soon) will they still be able to apply the discount? Will Dreams Unlimited issue me a refund? Or Disney?
