what are you "subscribing" to? Maybe I need to do that as well.

The poster is subscribing to the thread...meaning that if the option is turned on they will get emails to notify when new posts are made on the thread, and if you click on private messages (close to top right) then scroll down, there is an option on the left to view subscriptions and you can then see which ones you have posted on/subscribed to as well as if there have been new posts since you last saw them. By posting you are automatically subscribing.

There is a pull down menu at the top of the page of posts called thread tools, when you click on it there is an option to subscribe to the thread. That way you can subscribe without posting.

I am hoping for a good code for late November or early December as an excuse to go on another trip so shortly after our summer vacation. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We had booked 12/8 - 12/15 at ASMo. I called yesterday and asked the CM if there were any discounts available. She found a pin code attached to my name. The discount was good enough that I switched to AKL! So give them a call - you might get a deal if you ask the CM to look. I had to move my dates up one day because the discount didn't start until 12/9, but that was ok with me! Edit: Also, I had booked with a TA, so I had her call to make the change and she got it for $120 less than I was quoted!

CM stands for Cast Member - all the employees at WDW are called Cast Members.

I was told my a CM today that even if you've paid in full if a code comes out or some special comes out and you qualify for it you can get the discount. She even mentioned something about it being retroactive? Anyone know if that's true?

I've booked for 9-15 Dec and hope to see some deals come out within the upcoming months. The CM told me to keep a look out!

I don't know, but I have never spoken to a CM at the 407 number who had a common name. I get Bran (pronounced Braaaaaaaaaaahn) or Opalena. Names like that...

Never spoken to a Dave or Pam, lol!

Me too! Recently, I've spoken to Flower, Ariel and Aviary (not Avary) lol. Made me wonder if they just adopt Disney-esque names for their jobs.
