December 2005...When to make ressies?

For those planning a Dec. 2005 trip, have you made your ressies yet? If not, when will you? We're planning to go the first or second week, and want to stay at the WL. I'm wondering how soon we should reserve?

I'll be making our 2005 ressies as soon as we get back!

Yeah, ya know I was thinking that I bet a lot of the usual December goers make their next ressie right after the current trip. Maybe we'll make the ressie in early Dec. before you all get back.

Have an awesome trip! I'll be looking forward to reading everyone's Christmas trip reports so I can plan for next year!

Have had my December 2005 ressies for a couple of months- wanted at LEAST the AAA discount so I booked EARLY and am hoping for codes closer to the date!

I made mine in Sept this year. I want to get the type of room I want, so as soon as I know when I want to go, I book it. You can always make changes or adjustments.

It does seen sooooooooooo far away thought.

I made our reservations for our trip (less than 3 weeks to go!!!) in July... of 2003!

It's never too early. I say reserve the second you know when you want to go. Why wait? You can always adjust for discounts later. Having the ressies is part of the fun! We reserved our Dec 2005 trip back in May. We ahve had ressies as far in advance as 2 year before too. We cannot afford to go every year or even every other year so having ressies is something that gives me hope for the next vacation.

Do it now!!!! No time like the present!

I booked mine about a month and ahalf ago through DU ... Now we wait for the codes....

I just made our December 2005 reservations yesterday. I could not have waited any longer. We will be there December 10th - 18th. It will be our third trip and our first trip during the Christmas season. I can not wait!

I want to rent a villa again so I am hoping to rent points from someone again and make my reservation at their 11 month window which would be Jan. If I was staying in the lodge I would have booked already.

mickeymost--I see we have about the same countdown. We are staying at the Boardwalk, how about you??

sfbank We are actually splitting our stay. My 3 DSs all want to stay somewhere different. So, it will be WL/Poly/CR. I really like the Epcot resorts. They wanted to stay at BC again also, but that is way too many moves. I am hoping to be a Florida resident at that time, so I will have my own car. I'm hoping DH can handle all of the moving. I know I can.

You'll love the Boardwalk!!

I've already reserved CR 14th floor for Dec 9th and 10th 2005. In January I'll be searching for a WLV for the rest of the time.

It's so exciting finally getting to plan!!

Hello -

Since you all have so much December experience, how is the weather in December, any possibility of time in the pool? Are the crowds pretty minimal early in December? We're thinking about a quick trip probably 12/2-12/5. Hadn't even considered reservations yet!
