December 1st - Hurricane season???

Just wondering if this is considered Hurricane season? We will start our 3 night that day after 5 days in WDW. Thanks for any info.

I don't think so. Seems like it ends in November, but not 100% sure on that.

The Atlantic Hurricane season is from JUNE 1 - NOVEMBER 30.

OK - if it ends usually 11/30 - does that mean I have a good chance of a stray hurricane or do they say it ends 11/30 when there are not really hurricanes that late? Sorry but I've never had to worry about them being in NYC. Just worried about my cruise "investment".

Hurricane season for the Atlantic is busiest in August and September.

We did the December 1st in 2002 and had perfect weather (80 plus). But, for the 2 weeks prior, apparently they had rainy, cloudy cooler weather, we were lucky! So it is really a shot in the dark. You have to have a back-up plan (spa treatments, movies, food... etc.) No matter what, you will have fun!

Thanks for the info! We did early Jan this year as well and it was perfect, however it was a bit cool for me to go in the pool. The kids were also chilly when they got out of the water.

I don't mind so much the rain, I just didn't want to end up with a hurricane or something. We have a room booked for the Nassau day and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we make the port!
